Chando is currently living within New York City. Chando studied at Manhattan College prior to becoming an actor. Chando originated the role of Maddie Coleman on the television soap show As the World Turns, which she performed from 2005 until 2007 and again for several months, beginning in the latter part of 2009. Her acting debut came in House Blend, the TV series House Blend in which she appeared as Jenna Harper. In the following three seasons, she starred on the American TV soap opera that aired at CBS, As the World Turns as Maddie Coleman. Later in 2009 Chando got a role in the American documentary TV series True life and further appeared in the TV series, Sherri. Moreover, she starred in two episodes of the American comedy-drama series Glory Daze as Annabelle. In addition, her other TV show credits are Castle, Hindsight, Dead People and Outcast.
